All my life I have had mongrels that the kids have brought home and this is my first tiny baby and havent had a dog cling to me since junior high and loving it.

Welcome. He is probably sore from the vaccinations he may be a little sluggish from the shot for his thyroid. Hopefully he will feel more like his old self tomorrow.
