I've had dogs all my life. They were given their puppy shots and their yearly rabi vaccine. Every dog my entire family has had(this is 3 siblings and parents) have all lived from 14-19 years(this is including my golden retriever who was put down at 18 years of age because of cancer). My dogs to this day, all get their puppy shots and their rabi shots(although I have just switched to the 3 year rabi shot). My vet never pushes any shots, I tell her which ones I want(I do make sure the 2 outside dogs have their distemper shots also). I agree dogs are being over vaccinated also, but, i also feel their are certain shots they do need to keep them healthy. Someone said about polio, yes, some people did catch it still, but, if they wouldn't have had the polio shots, then more people would have died from it than what actually did. I am another person who has also tried a lot of herbal things, and herbal things do NOT work on me. |
