Hi, perhaps your yorkie is nervous. What I did with Lexie was, a drive around the block, take a toy or a merricks flossie to keep the baby entertained, keep the mind on something else. Continue making the trip a little longer every time. By going on short trips she isn't thinking car equals the vet. When I was training Zander I would take him in the morning when he was hungry so I would take his bowl of food. Jazzie still gets nervous I give her a calming pill 30 minutes before the drive, it helps. Good luck.
