Mitzi is very small, she is five months old and weighs 3.5 pounds. Our Vet said she will be very petite. The weird thing is that she only poops inside in the early evening, between 5 - 7 P.M. other then that, she is good. That what confuses me. I took her out this evening (it is 8 degrees here in CT) and she made piddle, and I knew that she was due for her evening poop. I stayed outside about 20 minutes letting her walk around the yard. Finally, I brought her back in and turned my back for a minute, and she ran into the den and pooped. I use the crate only when we go shopping, etc for short periods of time. I do like your idea of a playpen. Thanks for the feedback. This is my first Yorkie and I truly love her tenacity; she is far from a whimp.
