 Question about white rice.
I know white rice and chicken is good for our dogs when they have an upset stomach but what about feeding white rice everyday? Is there too much of anything in white rice that would be harmful to feed with each meal? My crew loves a little white rice, carrots and green beans over their food...I feed Innova red meat recipe. The protein in the Innova is 24% fat is 14% and carbohydrates are 41.44%. If I use the white rice on top of this am I doubling up on anything too much? Oh, they get about a rounded tablespoon of rice twice a day over their food...usually it's cooked in chicken broth or chicken broth and water. |
