Mine does this too, mostly with pee though. SHe is a very clean girl. When she is with my friends dogs who are wee wee pad trained and they go potty on the pee, she walks over there and tries to cover it up. she messes up the pad so that its folded over and the pee is hidden. LOL She's always been trained to not go in the house so whenever her "house" is messed up she feels the need to clean/hide it.
Outside though she never does this, except when it snows. she's been covering her pee with snow since she was a baby. its funny when she's finished and has a face full of snow.
