So we've had our little Mia for two weeks now and I couldn't be a happier yorkie mom. I have allergies tho so at first it was a "trial" run to see if I could handle her and thank heavens I can. For the first few days I told my 8 year old daughter that we wouldn't name her till we knew for sure that we would be keeping her as it would only hurt more if she had to go back to the breeder. During this time we tried out different names and had fun discovering her personality to go along with the name. We went through tons of names (none of which all three of us could come to a concensus on) and on day four when I knew I could never let her leave I named her Mia (mine in Italian) cause she was just that.... mine.
During the process of naming her hubby said we should find out mom and dad's names cause that might help us decide. So we find out moms name is Pixie and dads name is Axel very cute, but nothing rings a bell. Well last night, I'm playing with my baby and laughing so hubby blurts out "DARN! We should have called her Paxil cause she's the best antidepresent you've EVER had!" roflmao Ahhhhhhhhh my hubby, he makes me smile almost as much as my Mia
