One of my dogs is more house trained than the other but they both go to the back door to be let out to do their business. they have learned though that when we are too busy to play they will go to the back door and stand. we of course notice this and will stop what we are doing to let them out and then they will run to their toy box to get one and bring it back to you as if to say, "what I really wanted you to do is stop ingnoring me, here is my toy now pay attention to me because I am more important than whatever silly business you were doing over there"
it can be annoying but then I never want to take the chance of them peeing in the house either and I haven't determined when they are playing me.
