You are right, a good jeweler is the key. My hubby bought my diamonds loose in Colorado. He wanted to stones as perfect as possible. So this led him on a journey to learn about the four C's color, clarity, cut and carat. He flew me out to Colorado to look at the stones before he purchased them - it was really romantic. We had a local jeweler design the simple ring and he and his daughters are the ONLY people that have ever worked on it.
