Marley who is a year old did the reverse sneezing last week. It started in the middle of the night. I thought he was choking. I took him into the emergency vet and she said it was reverse sneezing. It sure doesn't sound like a sneeze. She said it could be caused by allergies. She has also seen raw hide bones from Thailand that have a coating on them that can cause this reaction. I had just bought him a new raw hide bone from Walmart the day before. He did the sneezing for several days and now it has stopped. I know how you feel. I was so scared I was going to lose him.
