[Yorktastic]

I read other posts about Innova before and just wanted to drop this post about what my vet told me just in case it helps anyone. I have no idea if this has been said, Im new so havent covered many posts yet

Last friday my vet told me not to switch to Innova as my pups new food only because the protein comes from so many different sources. So when/if the dog gets an allergy it makes it difficult for the vet to discover/treat the specific type of food its having a problem with. She suggested RC, the yorkie recipe (of course!).

I asked her about California Natural and she said thats a really great food, and she has seen great results from dogs who have been eating that food for nearly a decade. She just suggested that I dont start with anything too "fancy" such as the venison because those "rare-er" flavors are usually used if a dog developes an allergy.

I ended up getting California Natural lamb and rice dry pup food. Mixing it with his old stuff and he seems to like it (if I coat it with enough cottage cheese )
