there are people out there are just being negative regardless what you have. we have a smaller girl who is two and a half pounds at three years old. one day we were checking out at petsmart and a lady with a two pound 8-week-old yorkie pup was referring to my girl as "one of the large pups"(my girl is kept in long coat and does not look like a puppy). I try to give them a benefit of doubt, maybe they are just uneducated about the breed
