How old is your yorkie? Does your dog know where the correct place to pee or poop is yet? Do you have anyone else living with you who can help you care for your dog? Yorkies are usually very energetic and need lots of exercise and attention to be happy and healthy. It seems like yorkies have two modes: 1. asleep or 2. awake and exploding with energy.

Oh, and I don't think you have to worry about yawning.
Like a human, dogs yawn when they are sleepy. If you have a very young puppy, young puppies are sleepy often. They're growing! My dog yawns several times before and after every nap, and sometimes in between naps too.
