Generally speaking as soon as I can hear clicking on the floor Sasha gets her nails done. I use the pedi paw as well... It's usually around a week or so. The trick is watching for the quick. If you cut them too short they will be in pain. Not as much as with hammer type clippers but still uncomfortable. Take off too little and you will drive yourself crazy as it you will feel like you are always cutting. As you keep cutting regularly the quick retracts slightly. Which means you can cut back further. |
