I think you're right. My Yuki seems to be extremely fragrance sensitive, no matter how much or little he smells. He carried on for about 1/2 an hour today after my sister left due to the amount of perfume she was wearing.
He flipped and flipped while rubbing his nose all over the carpet trying to rid her perfume from his nostrils. I think he performed so long because her scent was all over the family room where he normally hangs out. I felt so sorry for him.
He finally eshausted himself and went off to sleep, Whew...
