Hello all!!!
Can I join this doggedly determined potty blues group of brave souls? I too am struggling with the potty blues with my two girls, Cassie and Muffin.
My girls are being trained at the same time, actually, (very long story.) One is almost two and one is 9 months. Day 1 was yesterday and they went potty in the pen outside twice (I caught them, they did not tell me), and once on the potty pad, (edge of the pad-it's actually on the rug). How many times a day do you think I should take them out? I was thinking three times out and once having them potty on the potty pad (late at night, cold and wet outside). This morning went smashingly. I woke them up about 6:30, grabbed the treats, the towel and marched them out to the newly constructed romper room/potty pen outside. They seem to like it out in the pen and they do seem to know what is expected from them. I just don't seem to know when they are finished. I think I waited long enough before I brought them inside, so I'm hoping they won't go till after breakfast at 9Am when I can catch them about a half hour after eating. I can't wait for the potty bells by Bellasmomok so I can train them to tell me they have to go.
