Thanks for posting these! I just got back into sewing so that I could make a crate cover for Violet's wire crate.
For those wanting to learn to sew, there are a lot of great online tutorials (google something like "learn to sew"), as well as excellent books on amazon that can teach you all the basics and different stitches, etc. But I agree that the dress pattern is pretty basic - you could probably do it without any advanced knowledge. I certainly am not "advanced," and I think I could make it without problems. We'll see!
