Everyone grieves differently. Some people need to get another dog quickly, some need to go through the grief process for months or even years before they can open their heart up to another dog. If you aren't given enough time to grieve for Lacey, you may not be able to bond with this puppy.
Only you know what is best for you. If you feel it's too soon, please don't feel pressured to take this new puppy. |
