| "possible problem behaviors" label I took Harley to the vet today to get his shots, the doctor asked me how it was going, the last time I was in they had their “behavioral coach” call me after our visit because I was telling him how dominant Harley can be and just wanted some suggestion on how to integrate my two dogs (we have had Samson since July and he is the total opposite of Harley). Anyways when the doc flipped back in Harley’s chart he had written “possible problem behaviors”. I really do like this vet and have had great experiences with them but I was a little offended. Yes Harley is spirited and more stubborn than Sam and I have had to get creative in showing Harley the ropes but he isn’t a Cesar Millan case or anything, he is just a puppy with a stronger personality. I came home and told my daughter, poor thing he has this label and when he starts school everyone will see him as the problem child, his teacher will automatically think he is bad. He’ll have this label for the rest of his life. While I was joking it really is kind of sad that after one visit this would be indicated in his chart.
