I don't know the answer to your question but I wanted to tell you that we have Gracie a yorkie then we got Sammie a maltese. His temprament fits so well with Gracie's She is hyper and a prima donna who gets her feelings hurt and pouts and punishes us when we do wrong... hee hee Sammie is playful, yet calm and not much bothers him. They are best friends. The two breeds are a great fit.
