Rescues can be hard - I think things can move very slow and many people get turned down for a lot of different reasons. A lot of people do not get as far as getting a home visit -- so I would say you have a very good chance, just based on how far you are in the process.

Maybe one of the members who work with a rescue could address the process after a home visit. But I would think if Noelle gets along with your fur-family & skin-family & the person bringing her doesn't see any red flags during the visit, you should be good. I would be sure to ask about the process after the visit, and how soon a decision is made. Ask if Noelle has home visits scheduled with other families too.

Do you know if the person bringing her, has any authority in making a decision about where Noelle is placed? Or if they just give a report back to the rescue?

I pray it all goes well tomorrow!
Thank you. I know it sounds silly...one more day. I guess, I got spoiled with Maximus. I met him on Wednesday and picked him up on Friday. It just seems so long when I'm so excited. I haven't heard back from the foster mom. I left her a message yesterday to please confirm a time for Sunday so I'd be sure to be home. I wanted to call her again today but don't want to seem so pushy. I'm not sure if she will be the one making the decision. It's all so new to me. That is what I was wondering, once the home visit is done, how much longer before they decide she's a good fit. It just feels like forever right now. Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to ask all those good questions.
