Does anyone have experience with Rescues? Is it a long process? I put in my application on the 4th of February. I'm trying to be patient but I'm just so excited.
thanks for listening. |
No, you get to meet her -

- you just have to wait an extra day - which I too am sorry about because since I started this thread I've been hoping for a very special home for this girl. And I can't think of anything better than to be in a YT home!
Rescues can be hard - I think things can move very slow and many people get turned down for a lot of different reasons. A lot of people do not get as far as getting a home visit -- so I would say you have a very good chance, just based on how far you are in the process.
Maybe one of the members who work with a rescue could address the process after a home visit. But I would think if Noelle gets along with your fur-family & skin-family & the person bringing her doesn't see any red flags during the visit, you should be good. I would be sure to ask about the process after the visit, and how soon a decision is made. Ask if Noelle has home visits scheduled with other families too.
Do you know if the person bringing her, has any authority in making a decision about where Noelle is placed? Or if they just give a report back to the rescue?
I pray it all goes well tomorrow!
