We're considering getting Lucky a playmate, either another yorkie, a maltese, a coton de tulear, or a havanese. Anyway, since we got Lucky from a shelter, I really don't know how to evaluate a breeder. My husband and I will start a family over the next few years, so we especially want to make sure that the dog has a good temperament and will tolerate a small child. What questions should I ask a breeder? Plus, how exactly does a breeder breed for temperament?
