I am very sorry that both you and your little girl are having to go through this. I would also discuss this with your vet as we have had a Biewer that suffers from it.

My mother always loved the first male Biewer we bought (imported from Germany), so when we found out that we couldn't breed him due to a retained testicle, he became her little baby. When we first got him, he had these sympotoms as well and had suffered boughts of it over the last few years (most recent one was just this week). We found that maintaining a very regular diet and not introducing new foods / treats seemed to help, but we were also told that stress could cause a flare up as well. The mediciation helps to bring it under control pretty quickly, but you will really want to watch her for dehydration.
