My husband has an African Grey. He is retired and the two of them are always together. The bird does not like me and I have to admit I'm not fond of it. I find the bird very messy with food and parrot dust. When we brought Piper home in July the Parrot was jealous of the attention that my husband gave the puppy. The bird starting cutting it's feathers. (Great more mess). Piper is very interested in the bird and they do go nose to beak and seem to play with each other but I don't trust the bird. I'm hoping that Piper will eventually just ignore it. I know I try to.
