It depends on what is causing the bad bite. You can have the jaw x-rayed and if it's in line then it's a tooth problem which can be corrected sometimes by having the top or bottom row of baby teeth pulled so the others can come in correctly. If it's a jaw problem then I don't think there is anything that can be cone and it can (but not always) be passed on...if it's a tooth problem then it can shift on it's own or be corrected.
