Well one of those scammers from the energy saving company saw the note and ripped it up. He is lucky I never saw him do it. I saw him going door to door and thought he just read the notice and left, after I saw it crumpled and ripped up, the nerve.
Funny but I just had another salesman come to the door just now, I ignored him. |
They are very creepy. There was once I nearly fell for it because I didn't know any better. They came and acted as if they represented the city and asked to check our bill in an authority command/intonation. I actually said hold on and then I thought something is not right coz no ID shown..I went back to them and asked for ID and specifically asked do you represent the city's hydro? They said no and then I just told them I jsut remember I don't get bills, I get them online. They asked me to make sure I print out a bill next time, keep it and when they come again, to show them. Ya right!!! I am not even opening the door the next time! And they always come late at night about 8pm! I read online one of their tactics is to come late at night or early morning so people would either still be sleepy or really tired at night and the chances of you signing is higher especially the families with young children!! That is just not right! And they are still in business!
