Have you ordered your copy of
HOW THE YORKIE RESCUED SANTA ?? Lots of your YT friends have. As previously promised on this site, for the next 3 weeks I am donating proceeds (everything over my cost) of the sales of this book to Humane Society of Mo.
So far, we have cleared $150 -- that's halfway to my goal of a $300 donation to HSMO by March 20.
Here's what some of you have done:
- ordered 7 books!
- ordered 15 books!
- ordered 3 and sent a check for $20 per book! (they cost $8) with all surplus going to HSMO !
- ordered just 1 book and expressed love for the Mo Yorkies and encouragement for me !
All I can say is THANK YOU -- and
wow.
If you'd like to get a jump on this year's holiday shopping, a book purchase is a good way to do that and help these Yorkies at the same time. Their medical expenses are significant.

(for those reading about the puppy mill raid for the first time:
It was just 2 weeks ago today that HSMO raided a southwest Missouri puppy mill and rescued 92 Yorkies from horrific conditions. It was a big story locally, and the next week it went national when several of these little creatures guest-starred on Oprah. You can find many YT threads devoted to the story.)
