It seems like she has taken on the role of "protector" for you
and this isn't a good position for an owner to be in
What you need to do is take charge and be HER protector
and the barking will lessen automatically
How you do that is in subtle ways
You go through a door first ... when someone comes into the house
she is behind you
and you don't let anyone in Until she stops barking
That you can work on with a volunteer
also take her out more so she experiences new things and sounds with you around
so that they aren't that scarey for her
