It is an all-in-one, topical flea and heartworm preventative.
The only thing is, one site on the internet is suggesting (supposedly they got their info from the FDA) that there is a pretty high mortality rate with it compared to other heartworm meds (can't really say for sure because we don't know how many people use each of these products, so if more people use Revolution, of course it is more likely that there will be more problems...but it doesn't seem that it's the most common either...). There have also been reports about dogs getting heartworms while on it.
