| We have a Grey, Timmy is going on 20 years of age, we got him when he was quite young and I hand fed him, he is very tame, however one never really knows so we we just never took a chance with our furbabies. Timmy enjoys the girls from his big cage, and they really enjoy him, but the girls are trained not to get right near his cage. What a talker the greys are, with a real personality. He has got a very large vocabulary. When the girls get barky he tells them loudly, "QUIET PLEASE, NOW." Lol, it is so funny.
We have a enclosed patio room which we use a lot it's heated in winter and a/c for summer, so that is Timmy's room I came up with a shield to catch his seeds and since his cage is quite large I fixed his feeder in the center of his cage. We gave our cockatiels to our son couple years ago, they sure have enjoyed them. I missed them terribly (3) after having them 13 years but at that time it was something I had to do and it helped knowing they were going to live with the kids I love to hear other people talk about their birds, they are so enjoyable.
