LMAO! I'm in... we hit the two week mark yesterday - halfway to The Month! Nikko will walk over by the door to let me know, and sometimes if he's feeling extra ambitious, he's even started ringing the bell lightly again!

Another development for us is the introduction of a fenced-in potty zone, as of today. Earlier I went to the Home Depot and spent $79 I didn't really have so that we could lose the leash. Whether it's with the bell, or with just walking to the door and giving me a "look", he still abuses his outside privileges, and I swear bending down every two minutes to put his leash on or take it off was going to give me a bad back. Not to mention it consumes more time. Between my DH and I, we had the cheapo (but not too ugly, overall) fence up and running in 40 minutes.

So far, removing the leash and adding the fence in the pottying equation hasn't caused any regression, but it's only been half a day. I hope it works out... I for one am LOVING not needing the leash every time.

We're looking forward to lots of updates from all the other dogs and peoples from the "trenches." It's great to hear from so many people going through the same thing... LOL, kind of like AA but for dogs Addicted to Peeing indoors... I guess that would make it PA?
