| Welcome to YT. 10 weeks or younger is young. Too young. You do not want to take a pup under 10 weeks and preferably not until at least 12 weeks of age. Also, most that breed for these "designer" breed dogs AKA Mutts with fancy names are byb or puppymills. Please don't buy into the hype. If you have your heart set on a "Morkie" (Maltese/Yorkie mix) please consider taking a look at Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder. or visting your local shelter. You will find a large amount of these pups end up in rescue. Sadly, a big part of the reason is people buy them as pups and when they grow up looking differently then they thought they would they just dump them. With a mix fancy name or not you really will never have a guarantee of what that pup will look like so that tri color pup you bring home may change dramatically as it gets older. Good luck. Elaine |
