How long do they stay good when being chewed and do they need refrigeration?

Gucci only gets his when it's grooming time so he has barely even made about an inch of it soggy the rest is hard as ever and untouched. How long will it stay good IT STINKS!!! and does it need to be put in the fridge? The pet store guy said it doesn't but IDK I thought I'd ask here.

How about the others that are UNTOUCHED and in the container how long will those last and should they be frozen or something?
