I agree they shouldn't be knocking when the sign is in plain sight
People need to make a living though and I feel so bad when I don't answer the door
but I just don't need the product they are selling and I really don't have the time to sit there and listen, but I do feel bad about it.
As far as the Jehovah Witnesses I take the pamphlet and thank them , thats it.
My husband gets so mad at me, but I feel bad.
I did get upset one time and said I was a Roman Catholic all my life and I wouldn't be changing religions anytime soon, but if I did I would let them know, then I slammed the door
They never came back.
