to me it sounds like Milu knows how to get you to pick her up...
I know its hard to ignore them but what I would do is when she cries then make sure shes not hurt by glancing at her and if shes not hurt then ignore her... and when shes not crying then pick her up as a reward and say good no cry!! thats what I would do... I hope it helps... good luck!!!
