Layla and I are also back to potty training! I have decided after too many area rug incidents, it's time for her to start peeing outside! I have blocked off the kitchen where the area rug is (known to Layla as giant pee pad
) and it turns out she loves going outside! When I ask if she wants to go outside she runs straight to the door
It's not always potty time, but when it is she gets tons of praise and treats! And she has been faithfully using her pad beside the door when I'm not home. We are patiently waiting on potty bells from bellasmomok to arrive which might make it easier to tell me when she wants out. It has been almost two weeks with just one incident of poop right beside the pad. But the real count starts when I give her access to the kitchen again!
