A dog trainer told me that getting a dog to come to you when called is one of the hardest things for them to learn. Maybe taking an obedience class would help. I'm starting obedience training with my little one in a week...even though he does simple commands at home, it's hard for him to concentrate when there are other distractions....and learning to come when called will be one of the commands that will be taught. I'll share info once the classes start.
