I started my maltese on Core @ 9 mo. and she loves it, my 2 yrs yorkie just devours it, I don't even think she chew it. In the mornings I mix a tbsp of Core can food and sprinkle shredded chicken or beef on top just a little, well no more prickle eaters. I feed a ¼ cup in the mornings and ¼ cup of just dry kibbles @ nite.
