Had my little one (Toots) to the vet today to have a lump checked out near her nipple. The news is not good. She was given an X-ray and had some blood tests. The vet showed me the x-ray and he had found a group of small lumps in her chest near her heart , and said he was 85% sure they were tumors and he wasnt very hopefull about her , even said she might only had weeks to live and maybe even putting her to sleep if the lumps get worse.
Her liver and kidneys were ok he said, and also mentioned she had stage 2 of heart disease.
If this is the case then I will have to accept it.
But to be honest Iam not entirely convinced about the diagnosis and Iam thinking of getting a second opinion. When he said she might only had weeks to live I was shocked becouse she seems fine , she is eating , drinking and seems to be her usual self , the only thing that I have noticed is that she isnt has energetic has she once was , and she does sleep alot , but I just put this down to old age (13)
Has anyone been in a similar situation with there little one?
