that is one of my biggest fears is that hes gonna decide he DOESNT wanna listen one day... i know theres kids constantly riding scooters, bikes past our apartments and im not sure how the dog would act as ive never seen his reaction to kids, only to me and shasta... but its pretty scarey.
I raised Dobermans for years and they were professionally trained by a gentleman that trained the K-9 unit. Any trainer will tell you that you can have the best dog but if he gets it in his mind that he wants something, there is nothing you can do...all the training in the world will go right out the window. I had one that was great, perfect, beautiful, people couldnt believe how well trained she was. If I said stay that dog would sit for hours until I said the words ok but she LOVED squirrels and if she saw one....she would hop the fence and go crazy trying to get to it. Who cares about your neighbors they obviously dont care about you or Shasta. |
