Why haven't you turned them in already? You can't be sure the dogs will end up at the pound. Maybe someone else can watch them, as their current owners don't seem to be watching them closely enough.

Also, what was your last statement? you're only supposed to have 2 days and have 3?

Call the apt. office now before you and your furbaby gets seriously injured.
