My vet said that is low to average. It is for gastro problems so it would not be high in calories. Of course it all depends on how active Blades is and how much you are feeding on whether or not they will put on weight or maintain weight. Matise is pretty active so he eats 1/3 a can a day. But I break it up into Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. He put on weight in the beginning which is what we wanted he only weighed 2 1/2 lbs and the vet said he was too skinny. So when we switched he actually wanted to eat so it wasn't hard for him to put on the weight and maintain his weight of 3.3-3.5 lbs now.
