My male Yorkie housebroke very easily. He was completely housebroken within a few weeks and we never had accidents until he developed bladder cancer 13 years later. After he passed on that's when I discovered YT. I enjoyed looking at everyones babies and hearing their stories. It helped me to heal and move on. I thought it was strange that most people would say that Yorkies are very hard to housebreak but stick to it and eventually they catch on. I'm thinking what are they talking about? This past July I brought home little 10 week old Piper. She was very hard to housebreak. She would go outside but then she would go again about 20 minutes later inside. She was good with poop because I would always bring her out after eating but the pee FORGET IT. She just would pee whenever she had the urge. The vet said she had an immature bladder and she didn't understand that she could hold her urine. It wasn't until she was 6 months old until she FINALY started to go days with no mistakes. She is 9 months old now and she still doesn't really ask to go out but I've learn to read her body language and accidents are few.
