Glad that Veer seems to be on the mends. I feel for your hubby as I have kicked mine several times when they've been running around my feet. Just last night I kinda stepped on Maggie, heard her let out a tiny yelp and by the time I realized she was there, I took another step and she went flying about 3 feet across the floor!
She was okay so I made like it was a game and got down on the floor with her and played "rough house" with her for a few minutes. She jumped up and started jumping around and wagging her little tail. Phew! They are so quick!
