At the same time, she has been getting sick and hearing things from you guys has made me feel a little better. I was just wondering if you worried about your first little one as much as I am? I am just constantly worried about her. Please share your experiences as a new small puppy parent with me. It will probably make me feel a lot better about all of this.
Small puppies are very special in a lot of ways, taking care of them is certainly one of them. Is Riley still under 2 pounds? It's good you are worried, because taking care of a problem at the first sign of a problem is the best way to prevent a bigger issue. As I am sure you know, little babies can get sick fast. A small amount of worry is good, but too much is no good for you or your puppy.

How is the girardia going?

Have you talked to your breeder about your concerns? Your breeder should be your first resource for help - the breeder knows your puppy better than anyone else. Reading too much stuff can get your gears turning in a bad way. It's good to be informed, but if you're like me, you start looking for signs of all kinds of rare problems. : )
