I don't know if you sew or not, but I just made a purse carrier for my toy poodle, and now get to make one for Lulu. I made the pattern up, kind of a modified tote, with an opening for the head. I originally bought a simplicity pattern, but after cutting out the pieces, realized it would be too small for my 6.5 lb poodle. I will go ahead and make it for Lulu, who is 2.8 lbs., but I like my pattern better. The bag is lined and much, much easier to make!
