just wanted to wish you good luck!

I have 3 bunnies and a yorkie. (2 bunnies I got from a rescue) i think it is also seasonal, i think that some seasons there are more puppies available. at least that is what a breeder told me, so hopefully there will be more puppies available to you when spring/summer comes along.
as far as pricing, i think generally breeders will charge more, and 'backyard breeders' will charge less. (generally) but make sure you find a healthy puppy

there are other places besides petfinder that you can search, have you tried kijiji.com or craigslist?
good luck to you!
