This is why people who buy from breeders should go in person and see both parents of the pup they are buying. Never agree to *meet* someone and never have a dog shipped.
I wish that pet stores were required to hang pictures up of this kind of stuff as an informational thing ... something like:
This is most likely what the parents of this pup look like and/or are kept.
