Lent is a huge deal in South Texas and I always enjoy it! We have tons and tons of yummy fish/shrimp/oyster frys on fridays! Every catholic church around has cool activities going all during Lent.
I'm not catholic but I am a pescaterian and eat all the seafood I can stand during Lent! It seems like 90% of our population is catholic, including my bf and his family, so everyone is always complaining about giving up something! |
